Everything else is above the recommended requirements but the processor is the only thing that is a concerned.

There is a web site by microsoft just for this Games for windows You install a small program Game Adviser and run it It will tell you if and how well your game will run and even make recomendations http://gameadvisor.futuremark.com/gameadvisor/service/support_help.jsp It doesnt get easier than that.

Most likely since the Core 2 Duo has 2 processors that run at 1.8Ghz. Each processor does half the work, thus making it faster than a single core 1.8Ghz processor.

look at the speed the ghz or mhz what ever it says like required 1.0GHZ as long as ur speed is above or the same as the requirement it should work and u can even have slower and it work so mostly yes it will work
