Okay so im trying to make an amv but i want to make it on a windows media maker anyway i got the flv file but i need to make it so i can put it on a MSWMM file cuz thats all the windowa movie maker can take so yeah if you can help me that would be wonderful!!!!!

I have a problem with my printer. A while back, it started printing words on top of words. For example, the top part of the page would say "When tires are not inflated to the pounds per square inch..." and those same words would appear on top of other words near the bottom of the page. Why is this happening?

I have a fairly old install of Vista Ultimate on my system. I have just added a new and faster drive to the system, and want to put a clean install of Vista on to that drive and switch between both installs at boot time - choosing between a Gaming Vista and Work Vista. Am I likely to encounter problems with licensing, conflicts (i.e. how Vista creates shadow copies, recycle bins, etc. on all drives) or anything else I haven't considered?

I'm not a stupid affiliate marketer by anymeans, but I do have a product that I want to sale that will consist of a single page sales letter. With a few other pages. It's for some video's I want to sale on how to do some different kinds of decorative concrete work. I'm sick of anwering the phone to give people the play by play, so to speak. I found this site.
http://www.projectblackmask.com selling some dumb make a billion in a second or something. But I did like the site as far as the sales letter. How can I, kinda tech savy, but by now means a web developer, build that kind of sight. Logos and graphics I would have made. I like how the site always stays at the center of the screen, even when I hit favorites. It's always in the center. What are some words of wisdom?

Hi I just bought a brand new Sapphire AGP 8x 1950 pro 512mb video card. I have an Ultra Xconnect 500 watt PSU. I took one of the fans out of the PSU a long time ago. (way before getting the graphics card yesterday). Is it possible the PSU is over heating? or does the PSU just not have enough power for the card? or is it most likley not the card or the PSU? the last card I had wouldn't ever crash but it was a 5900xt which is achient now. Ive tried reinstalling the drivers and what not and my computer crashes in any/every game. theres also corruption on the screen. do I have to get it RMA'd?

Hi,
I'm trying to rename a certain file with a .php extension to a .jpg. How would I do this using a .htaccess file? This is what I want the URL to be changed FROM:

http://www.johninteractive.net/photos/imagedisplay.php?id=3

To this:

http://www.johninteractive.net/photos/13.jpg

How would I do this by using .htaccess file? I tried using another example but I got a HTTP 404 error.

I am trying to share internet between a desktop pc and a laptop.The desktop is connected to a speedtouch DSL modem via ethernet.
Windows XP is on the desktop and vista on the laptop.

Here's the problem: The wireless link works fine but there is no internet on the laptop.I also notice that there was no IP address shown (was set to receive IP automatically) on the monitor/config tool that came with the card (on the desktop)..so I disabled that tool (it has that option) and switched to Windows zero config tool..but when I try to turn on internet sharing it tells me that at least one protocol must be installed and then when i try to install tcp/ip I get an error "could not add requested component. The error is: 0x8004A021".

Is there any way to share internet without ICS?
ANY help will be greatly appreciated..I'm close to giving up.

I recently bought my first laptop used from a friend of mine who really tricked it out. He is very knowledgable but we use the computer for different things.The computer is so slow to load, and it is mostly due to our wireless internet service. I get it free so I'm not complaining. But I want to boost my performance with what is in my control.

My taskbar (down by the clock) shows 10 icons all the time. I have been told that this bogs up the computer. Trouble is, I don't know what I need, and what I can shut off, perhaps even remove from the computer. I figured out how to hide them when they are inactive, but I'm not sure that hiding makes any difference in the processing speed if they are all working in the background. After I figure out which ones I want to come on automatically, and which to activate as needed myself, I would like to change the settings so they don't keep coming back on and slowing things down. What should I do? Thanks for your help!

My virus scan runs automatically on fridays. It is set for 4AM on fridays.
But that means when i turn my computer on on firdays , that is when it scans, when im doing other stuff.
What is the reason that it can't auto scan while the computer is off? (when it needs my assistance to choose an action it doesnt need it till its done)

It's in use with another program and there fore i canot delete it. The thing is that i can't un connect it from the other program because it changes files every time you reboot. My brother kinda knows about computers and I think that's what he said was wrong with it.

Please Help Me, i'm trying to connect my gamepad with a serial plug into a usb port via serial to usb adapter and it dosent reconize the controler, can anyone suggest some software so that I can use my controller. i have tried installing the drivers but they dont work(too old) i am running win. xp, and have no info on the adapter manufacture. please only intelegent answers only. thanks any suggestions will be helpfull. i really dont want to buy another controler when i have one right here.

By getting the 4GB option, it will cost me $800. Is it worth it to get that memory? I don't think I'm going to be doing anything that will use up that space, but I would also like the laptop to last me four years in college. Any advice?

Working on a friends wireless. They can get a connection and cant get online from any server. Everything checks out with ISP, DHCP, etc. We hooked up at our own home and everything checked out for the wireless service we were running but still cant get to the internet.
They have connected at Tampa Airport, Comcast network, and our own home unsecured network. Have pulled a 192. IP, but cant get the internet on any of them. But, a desktop hooked to the same Comcast can, and all wireless on the same home network is able to.
