I have a problem with my printer. A while back, it started printing words on top of words. For example, the top part of the page would say "When tires are not inflated to the pounds per square inch..." and those same words would appear on top of other words near the bottom of the page. Why is this happening?

I assume this is a laser NOT an inkjet printer.

In this case it sounds like a failing drum / image belt if colour printer.

measure distance between the original text and the "ghost" repeat, and checkl manuf website, or post more info into a question with printer model and distance between occurences

Faded letters are usually caused because your nozzles need cleaning.. Run your printer maintenance. Printing on top of other print on bottom of page I dont know maybe the page set up needs looking at, you should find that under File on the window of your program you are trying to print.
Hope to be of help
