Hi I just bought a brand new Sapphire AGP 8x 1950 pro 512mb video card. I have an Ultra Xconnect 500 watt PSU. I took one of the fans out of the PSU a long time ago. (way before getting the graphics card yesterday). Is it possible the PSU is over heating? or does the PSU just not have enough power for the card? or is it most likley not the card or the PSU? the last card I had wouldn't ever crash but it was a 5900xt which is achient now. Ive tried reinstalling the drivers and what not and my computer crashes in any/every game. theres also corruption on the screen. do I have to get it RMA'd?

its probaly the powersupply because there's no fan and the card is probaly overheating as well just go buy a new one and don't listen to the guy above me you don't need 600watts to run it 500watts should be plenty hell even a 400watt powersupply with a dual 12v+ rail is even enough to run a x1950pro remember your better off going with a 400-500watt powersupply from a good reliable companys like antec, crosair, thermaltake, enermax, fsp group, ocz then buying a 600watt powersupply from some cheap company
