I have NVU and its taking so long to publish my website?

I only put a few letters on my webpage to see if it will really publish and its taking forever to publish. So far it was 3 hours. It says loading/pubishing.

There is something amiss in your FTP setup. The publish function requires you to setup the server, username and password for your website before attempting to "publish". If those settings are not correct the program may hang. Just cancel and recheck your settings.

Be sure you have the correct "FTP" settings from your host enter that information in nvu and re-publish it shouldn't take but a few minutes to connect and transfer your site.
