What kind of website will I need and what needs to be done?

Since yesterday, everytime I exit out of Myspace, it says: The instruction at "0x7eIfaf3" referenced memory at "0x7dc489500" The memory could not be "read" Click on OK to terminate the program..Should I go to My Computer and then Restore my computer? Because I already cleaned up the disk, scanned for viruses, did the adaware program.

For some reason my wireless internet kicked out today on my Dell laptop and it wont reconnect. It just says "aquiring network address" for a long time, then quits and tries it again.
My router is a Netgear Rangemax wireless router WPN824 v2.


Do you know what I can do to fix this? My road runner works on my desktop so I know it's got to be the wireless.

I have 2 computers in the whole house. A new Laptop is connected to the Linksys Router which is connected to the main router and my computer with a Linksys Wireless adapter. (theres also a range extender for a better signal.) I want to host a free Ventrilo Server for my friends but I can't do it with my computer since it uses a wireless internet connection. How can I Host a Ventrilo server (as well as hosting games) with a wireless internet connection?

Because the videos I'm trying to upload on Youtube won't even start. It won't even go to the percentage done box.. it just sits there with a "sending request to v95.youtube.com message.

I wanted to delete my temp files. I went to find internet options and was afraid to delete the cookies. XP used to have an option to delete temp files. I checked to see how many files there were and I noticed that some of the last modified are from 1994 up to when I got this new comp.. can someone explain why? Does this mean I did not get new computer? Totally confused. Thanks for any suggestions. Laptop is running slow also.

I have an older Dell computer with basic components and only 256 megs RAM (I think). It takes it almost an hour to boot up. What I would like to do is buy a new computer for myself and give this one to the kids. What should I do to this older computer to get it running better and suitable for the kids? And also I would like to get a top of the line computer for myself, with a good amount of RAM and storage, a nice video card and sound card etc...what type of Specs should I look for? The computer has a 90 day warrenty, comes with a remote control, keyboard and mouse. It has a dvd, and cd burner.oes this sound like a decent deal???? Is that enough computer do do gaming also??? I am very confused about this. I've always thought that a cracker needs more than just an IP address to actually hack, but I've heard it both ways.

Okay well sorry for the lack of technical lingo...
I just posted a question about getting a new ac adaptor because I thought mine had been bent in a direction for too long that made it not function properly. I also noticed that the metal tip was extremly hot and so was the hole that I plug it into.

Anyways today I got the new powercord and saw that my computer wasn't charging again. I touched the hole and it literally burnt my fingers it was so hot. So it has to be a problem with my actual lap top right?
What could be wrong with my laptop to make that hole so hot, and what can I do about it/ where can I take it?

It is a compaq presario and I usually have it turned on all the time.

Hey all,
I was checking out the Macbook Pro 15" with 2.4 ghz, 160gb at 7200rpm and the Apple Care. Im going to be doing Political Science and a second major in business, and I was going to install Windows on the Mac. Should I get this laptop, or get a PC based laptop? I like how easy yet sophisticated Mac is, plus its durability and quality of care Apple gives its customers (had an ipod for 4 years and never had any problems with their service)

Vista was Really sucky. so i installed Xp Home edition. but now the Ethernet Controller Isnt working because it's missin the drivers and i CANT find the drivers. i even went to the Acer Page. can anyone help me?
