For some reason my wireless internet kicked out today on my Dell laptop and it wont reconnect. It just says "aquiring network address" for a long time, then quits and tries it again.
My router is a Netgear Rangemax wireless router WPN824 v2.

Do you know what I can do to fix this? My road runner works on my desktop so I know it's got to be the wireless.

log into the router and remove the encryption security settings, then connect, it should connect now, you may have to do some restarting, but then go back in and add it back, make sure you keep the right key and everything, hope this helps

you may need to reset the router and set it up again , there is a small hole on the back of it you use a pen and push in there and hold for a bit to reset it, this resets all the passwords back to the way it was when new so you can create new ones. you will need to set it all up again the way you did at first but it may be the best option as you have lost your password as well
