which p2p software is best for dsl connections and for good downloads??

I've switched the colours from Hex Code into WebColours, but they still come up a completely different colour on those two browsers... I don't know what I'm doing wrong!

Evidently the default action is to grey-out the Task and give it a strike-through. I don't want this. I want the Task to be gone as soon as I check it as being complete.

I want to be able to edit *and test* a web site while offline on a laptop. And, once I am connected again I want to upload any modified file. I would like to use HTML, so even a Notepad-type program would be great. The program has to be free also...I don't have the money to buy software. I do not need a WYSIWYG editor, and would prefer not to use one.

I had this computer worked over because of spyware in the registry recently. Sometimes the pdf attachments will open, usually not. Also, I have another computer that I cannot get the email to forward to Outlook Express, I can open it without any problem by going to the web page of the internet provider. Still it is a cumbersome process. Any ideas?

Well, at work, we use Dells. I have had this Dell pc for 4 years. It handles PDS, Microstation, AutoCAD, PDMS and Ribas all at the same time and mighty fine. It never crashes, it takes upgrades like a charm, and it is still super fast and never stalls on me.

So, am I missing something? Do I click where it says "Buy" finally?

So I'm thinking about getting a laptop and I have a few questions. First, I know they come with a rechargable battery but will it harm it to have the laptop constantly plugged into the wall running on electricity. Second, can I get one with a DVD-rom and DVD burner if I order one through a company like Dell or something? And three, does it come with built-in speakers or can you plug speakers into it and what-not?

i goot up this morning and tried to start my pc up (dell dimension 4700) and all i got was 6 beeps nothing else , monitor/mouse and keyboard wouldnt work at all, re tried several times,even took apart the tower and took the ram out and video card etc and cleaned everything but still nothing, went to try again this afternoon, and i heard a loud swoosh (sounded like a jet of air) and the pc booted up fine .

anyone got an idea as what this could be ?

for some reason im thinking the master hard drive is beginning to fail , dont ask me why its just a guess, but also i think it could be something to do with the pc temp gauge and the fan somehow keeping the pc not running .

if you have any idea's or links i would be happy to look at those solutions , mnay thanks, your hero bsd

what im trying to do is make a batch file that deletes other files but not itself until the very end, where I want to put an if statement that says if the user answers yes to the Exit? question it deletes the batch file.

but I dont know how to add the exit y/n question or the if statement. and I want to hide the output of the del. command.
to make it look neater!

I have both dial-up and satellite. If I am on YIM using satellite and then open the dial-up connection, YIM closes and reconnects via dial-up, i.e., it uses the most recent connection. I would like to force Internet Explorer, Outlook Express and YIM to use only the satellite connection.

I have an hp well im not really sure what kind of computer it is lol. it says intel inside. and it has hp on it. And its very slow and i under control panel with add and remove buttons i want to know if its ok to to delete this there are like 50 or more things that says Security Update for XP and then Windows XP Hotfix, are those deletable without messing up this laptop?
