For somereason vista doesnt like ZA so can some one recamend a good(if poss free) firewall for vista thanks.

1. I have a Compaq EVO D500 SFF. There's only room for one internal hard drive so please don't tell me just buy another one and place in a free slot.

2. The computer is a Pentium 4 using a 60GB hard drive with 1GB of RAM. The computer is using Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4 as its operating system.

A. How large of an internal hard drive can I install onto this computer in terms of GBs??? 100GB? 120GB? 200GB?

B. How does one know which type of hard drive to get? Is there somewhere on the computer that tells me to get IDE, SATA, ATA ???? is there a program on Windows 2000 that lets you know this pertinent information?

C. Are there any recommendable, legit websites offering free info on hard drives and FAQs? a site that will tell me exactly what type of hard drive goes with a certain model of computer no matter it's age?

I have accidentally deleted some important Word documents from my Windows XP and also, joy of joy, deleted them in my recycle bin. I thought about doing a system restore, but would this bring word documents back? Thanks

I want a new graphics card to use on the computer which I am building with a pentium D processor, i also want directx 10 so I can play crysis with it cos i have windows Vista- a reliable and well known site is ok (not something ebay) but i can't find any in the UK except for microdirect which ain't too reliable. The best option would be a real life shop( not online) or a reAL LIFE SHOP WITH A WEBSITE. If anybody knows any good ones around kingston or New Malden or something it would be great.

okay so i have an ip address question..when i go to start and enter ipconfig, it gives me one ip address,one subnet and one other number..when i go to ip chicken it gives me another ip address..which i was told one was internal one was external.so when a website checks your ip address which one are they getting and if they ban it which one are they banning.. i live in a community with 281 people and the external ip is all the same. so how do they know if it only one person or 200 from the same place?

The process of researching, lnvestigateing, or lear ning about ANYTHING ls to find out where the information is that you want to find. So you go & look it up in an INDEX. right? So wnat happened when all these smart M.F invented computers & developed the programs for them. They forgot the most important item of all. i got a mac and im trying to copy a dvd i bought. i need someone to explain to me each step that is needed and whatsoftware to use and where to get it.

i already used mactheripper and i now have a folder on my desk top with two folders inside called 'audio_ts' and 'video_ts'. what do i do now.
