Everytime i try to change my cookie setting to medium high, and it keeps defaulting to allow all cookies and it won't stay changed to what i set it as and im clicking apply and everything. How can i fix this problem?

Sometimes when I click on a link or a button, the cursor switches to a hand but nothing else happens. I click several times and then stop and finally, after another 10-second wait, the link comes up. The mouse works fine in games, so I don't think that's the problem. Also, those pages oen very slowly. Any ideas?

I have a wireless router that I connect to with remote desktop web connection. I type my IP and my port # and it all works fine. The router I have uses a common IP address for the router. How can I change the IP or change settings to allow me to use my true IP address. What if I set up the same setup and port # on my parents network so that when you connect the address would be exactly the same.

I think i have a virus but my scanner isent picking up anything. The computer is fairly new and has vista 32 bit (what ever that meens) ill admit i do do some filesharing from time to time but nothing hard core. What happens is every so often the screen will flip out. when i run my mouse pointer over my folders and icons they will get highlighted like normal but will stay highlighted the start menue will open but it will be blank while i know that the buttons are there cause i clicked where the icon was supposed to be and it locked the computer. On really bad occasions what will happen is ill try to open somthing and all of the windows that i have open will flash on and off when im in firefox sometimes the webpage will almost copy itself to the menue so it looks like i dont have a menue untill i run my mouse over the buttons and they will appear? Does any one know what is going on or what type of virus it is??!! Help me please!

I had IE as my default browser, and now I downloaded Firefox because it is supposed to be more secure. They say it is very easy for hackers to be able to get you through IE. Now that I have Firefox as my default browser, is IE still running? So therefore, can hackers still track me. Do I have to disable IE or something?

ESPECIALLY THEIR FORUMS!!!!!! I am used to nice looking ORGANIZED forums, their forums look like a ton of links that I really don't want to read because they are just all thrown together! Jeez, even if they don't want to use pictures to save on bandwidth they can at least use HTML to make them more spaced out in boxes with alternating colors separating each post!!

It amazes me that lots of people use Craig's list when there are other better more FUNCTIONAL better looking and easier to use services out there on the web!!!!

I have an Actiontec Router and I want to login to the GUI VIA the IP address of my router, http://xx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8080

When I am at home and type in http://192.168.1.1 I can login and see the GUI.

I am at work and am trying to configure the router so that I can hit the routers GUI from work.

I tried on the IntrAnet and I also tried an outside network connection and still couldn't. Any help configuring this would be greatfuly appeciated.

Alright its time to get me a new comp!!

ive been looking for a new comp for about 4 years now.. and this looks like an incredible deal to me..

Does it really make a difference if its refurbished or not?

I bought a refurbished laptop.. and it worked fine.. it's finally dying now i think (but its windows 95 still so i understand XD)

so what do you guys think? :3


(personally i think its a /really/ good deal.. but my dad needs someone elses opinion.. mine doesnt count i guess XD)
