I want to know because the laptop im buying has it.

It is technology developed by nVidia to link to graphics cards togethers to give better gaming performance. In order to use SLI technology, you need to have 2 cards that are SLI compatible, and the necessary PCI express slots to hold them. Hope this helps...

Scalable Link Interface. Your basically run two graphics cards together to get more graphics processing power. It will give you good gaming performance on your laptop, but just don't plan to ever have the thing unplugged, you will get terrible battery life running two grahics cards in SLI.
