i know its starts off with a 192..

go to the command prompt and type ipconfig /all to find the gateway address

then telnet into the default gateway address

c:\ ipconfig /all

then

c:\ telnet 192.168.x.x

depends on your modem. Could be 192.168.0.1, 192.168.1.1, 192.168.2.1, or even gateway.2wire.net if it is running SBC, if it is running Comcast, i can get that info for you, but i don't remember off the top of my head.

192.1 sounds like part of your i p address

192.168.1.1 will connect you to your router, if you have one installed.

192.168.100.1 will connect you to your modem.
