Check your computer's clock. If it is incorrect it can cause such problems. If it is okay, try logging on to Yahoo via another portal such as http://uk.yahoo.com/ or http://ca.yahoo.com/ to see if you can access your email.

That is very suspicious.

Your PC is probably infected with malware. Use the link below to learn more about "malware".

Then, you need to install: ONE Anti-virus (delete others, I use AVG free), ONE Firewall (Zone Alarm), and these 5 Anti-spyware tools: Windows Defender, Spybot, Ad-Aware, Spyware Blaster and cCleaner. I use all regularly. Google for them, install them and learn how to use them (HINT: Use the Help TAB).

TIP: The apps above can only clean up so much. As a last resort, back up all personal data from your old PC (copy to CD / DVD / external hard drive) and do a Windows "Clean Install" (for instructions go to: (www.theeldergeek.com).

Note: You must use your Recovery disks, if included with your PC, not a store-bought XP, to avoid driver problems. The Recovery disks may be ON the hard drive, so Read The Friendly Manual.

It works for me, so it probably indicates your PC or your network has been subverted by a man-in-the-middle attack.

Virus check your PC / get your company to virus check their servers. Do the same for spyware.
