hi, i'm thinking of buying a new desktop pc, dell seems a good idea, i'l be using it for pictures movies bit of gaming and picture editing, my budget is about £550, i was thinking of - DimensionTM C521 with

Looks good. The advice I always give is to double whatever they have as the standard memory. It will really make a hugh difference in how the PC performs. It is usually cheaper to add the memory up front then to add it later. Later, you would have to remove the 1024 in the machine and buy 2048 to take its place. Get it at the start, and you only have to pay the difference between 1024 and 2048, not the full price of 2048.

If you want to buy from Dell, then you must have money to throw away!!!

I can think of alot of places that sell PC's (including myself) for less.
I have just finished building a VERY High spec PC for someone for £500

If you can find a mentor, you are much better off building your own computer.

All the parts you want are available from the web. You will get much more computer for your money .

i recommend a gateway because gateway's support is better at least their tech have english as a 1st language.
