You have something that is making a call to the file display.exe. Except that file is no longer there (probably removed when you deleted or uninstalled another software from your computer).

Click on the Start button, click on Run and type in: msconfig
Go to the Start Up tab of the window that appears
You will see a list of all programs which are not part of Windows itself that are being loaded whenever you start your computer. Somewhere in there will probably be a listing for the display.exe file. Uncheck it, and it will no longer try to load that file.

If your computer is locking up regularly, you probably have too many things loading in the backround when you start it. You can use the msconfig (since you are already there) to also disable most (or all) of the other things being loaded in the background. 99% of them are not needed. Uncheck anything you do not need (usually all of them). If you find you do need one, you just go back and recheck it.
