im trying to download word since my kid deleted it so now it wont download for some reason and i need to type something soon. is there something other than word i can use?

I'm not sure what exactly it takes for building a computer that can render really fast. I'm starting to work with Poser 7 and rendering is sloooow. I was looking at whether to build one fast machine or use two moderately fast for rendering, since Poser 7 can utilize them. Also, not really sure the quality of a video card will help render faster, maybe a set ATI new Crossfire, or high performance dual ram from OCZ, I really don't Know, your help would be greatly appreciate, Thanks!

PS, I'm looking to build with the AMD X2 6000 and use 2 serial ata 300 and with a Abit or Asus MB that supports 2000 FSB.

i have two hard drives 1 IDE and other SATA. i have installed Linux redhat on the IDE drive and Windows xp sp2 on sata drive. the linux does not recognize sata drive. i dont get dual boot screen. i have go to set-up during restart or start of system and press F8 to select boot device and got to Linux. my system by default goes to WIndows Xp. how can i make the system to list both operating system on boot screen of my computer

I love Word 2007 in comparison to previous versions. But whatever I do, I cannot get single line spacing. I set the line spacing control to 1.0 but the document still won't go to single line spacing. I tried the Help feature, but that only tells me about converting an existing paragraph to single line spacing. I want to set single line spacing as default because I only work in single line spacing. I'm forced to continue working in Office XP until I find a solution.

I am trying to get a range to return blank if it does not meet my criteria, does anyone know how I can do this.

Here is my problem, Februray has 28 days but 29 days in each leap year, I want the range of cells to return blank if the cell is not the 29th. I am using the =DATE(YEAR(CellRef),MONTH(CellRef),DAY(CellRef) to calculate the days, so for this year it's showing as 01/03/07, i have a numerical column that lists the days ie 1-29 and then my formula to calculate the actual dates, I then have another field that calculates the days ie Monday to Friday which changes for me year on year, but Im having this slight problem with February, I think it's because my brain has gone to sleep...lol All i want to do is mark both the Numerical column and the day column blank if the date does not equal the 29th Feb. If anyone knows how I can accomplish this, I would be most grateful.

I'm trying to find a bluetooth adapter for my vista basic notebook. So far I either can't install the bluetooh drivers because they are not vista approved or the computer installs the drivers and the bluetooth adapter crashes my computer or freezes it. Do you know where I can get one that isn't too exspensive.

alright this is what im trying to do...im editting the file C:\Windows\explorer.exe
and i save it after im done working with the codes in it..and i end process by Windows Task Manager..and then i turn it back on...by clicking new task

for some reason my file doesnt get saved.... i've saved it to my desktop also and tried to replace it..but that didnt work either?
so is windows automaticalyl doing this and how can i stop it?

I have installed IIS on XP Pro and so far I have something which looks like an ftp server. When I go to the parent directory,I get my default webpage, but it seems that no-one else can connect to it. Somone got "connection refused when attempting to connect to localhost". I have http://localhost and then the name of my computer, but going to my default page only shows http://localhost in the address bar.

My Pentium D 945 3.4 ghz is overheating...again

Its getting about 70-75 degrees when i play games for about 20-30 minutes or when i convert videos ..etc

It happened to me in the fall so i bought an Ultra fan thats goes 3600 rpm but sounds like a jet engine

but now that its summer it seems like its overheating again

i have 3 case fans as it is

2 weeks ago i cleaned my computer and put new thermal paste on hopeing it would solve the heating problems but it didnt

any suggestions on a good fan
i kind of want one thats silent idk the Decibels on the one i have now

i dont really want to spend more then $60

I have just bought a Western Digital Hard Drive to store my photos on. I have copied my photos onto the drive and it is already saying it has run out of disk space!
It is 320GB and I have only put about 300 photos on there.

So I had the wrt54g router...but I am unable to connect it to the net. I used to do so with my previous ISP. But I wonder why with my new internet providers this is impossible. Probably they have some mac address protection or so???
