I'd like to be able to help someone via remote assistance, but we both have wireless routers and I've heard this may be the cause of our problems.
He invites me via the attachment on e-mail (we don't use messenger), but we can never connect.
I've heard you have to forward a port, but which one? Also do you forward to http, tcp etc. etc.
We're in different countries so I can't exactly go round there.
Can anyone help?

I know AGP cards use different volts so I need to know the voltage of the card.

I want to make my desktop PC wireless so, I know I'm going to need to get a PCI card. I already have a wireless router (Netgear ADSL Modem Wireless Router Model DG834GB - 54Mbps; 2.4 GHz; 802.11g). Can I get any PCI card or do I need a specific one that is compatible with my router? Also, I plan on putting my computer upstairs and the only hookup for my router is downstairs (we're in a military post in Germay and there is only one jack in the whole house!). Will I get a good enough signal if I do this? I didn' t know if the walls would interfer with signal etc. Also, if you have any suggestions on what PCI card to get, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks bunches (in advance) for the help!!!
