i downloaded the most recent version of norton, which i have had on my computer for years, and since i downloaded it i have been getting tons of pop ups. i have pop up blocker on explorer set on high and i still keep getting them and advertisements on pages. i cant find anything in nortan's settings for spam or pop ups. anything i need to chage or to do to eleminate the pop ups and advertisements?

ive been into electronics since i was 10, ive been building kits and making my own circuits, the only thing i never understood was transistors and ceramic capacitors, but the transistors more, what is the point in having one? what does it do? and ceramic capacitors, the big brown ones, little discs, why have those instead of the blue ones, electrolytic capacitors

I am using ASP.net, and i have a text box with the name txtemail so as to enter valid or nearly valid email,for example if i try to insert,posh,it must not insert, but if i make it posh@yahoo.com,or posh@hotmail.com or in the form of other known address form it must accept it,
so how can i do that, remember i am using asp.net.

i'm using windows XP(media center edition)
wen i click on notepad(icon) its freezes the whole comp for 10 seconds and then it opens.it is taking lot of time(a small thg like notepad shudnt take that much of time right?)

I have W2000, and keep getting a window saying im low on virtual memory and need to increase its size.

I am sooooooo untechnical, i dont even know what virtual memory is!!!! Waahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

How do i increase it, is it easy to do?????

Hi Just Installed Bt Home Hub, without many Problems, except where I want to Use either My Network Printer (HP4100tn Laser) originally connected to my NetGear Router. and also 2 Printers (HP2600, HP1280) comnnected to a Desktop.
I also can not share files across the network, should be a Firewall Setting somewhere, also tried to play with The Games and Application settings without sucess??
Anyone help with this please.

I have some personal email files which were created using Windows XP (Outlook 2002) but my company is still running Windows 2000 and the associated Outlook which I cannot upgrade at present. Looking for suggestions on how to convert the newer pst files for use with the older system please.

I recently registered for and installed Sky By Broadband - fine, no probs, downloaded the movies I was interested in, but noticed that even without the program running, the Kontiki delivery manager was using up all my broadband bandwidth from the moment I logged on, until shut-down. It was such heavy useage that it made playing games on-line impossible.

I have now uninstalled the Sky & Kontiki software, and wondered if anyone can let me know if they have had similar issues, or if there is something I can do to limit Kontiki's access to my connection?
