got this laptop for my son and now it's back to me. Messenger is on my desktop pc but would like it also on my laptop. I use my laptop more tha my desktop. Please help

I perform a complete virus scan with the free AVG program every morning at 4:00 AM. After the scan, the screen does not power down. I need to re-boot to get power management to work again. Why is this and what can I do to fix it?

I have an Apple iMac (not Intel) that is not wireless enabled. I also have a PC laptop and a USB printer. I also have a wireless router from Orange. My question is - how do i connect the apple wirelessly to my broadband - do i need to get airport or something to make the iMac wireless. Also is there anyway that i can make the printer wirelessly accessible to both the PC Laptop and the iMac??

I am building a desktop computer. I want it to be great for gaming, video editing, etc. I have my eye on the Athlon 64 FX62 processor, but am open to suggestions. Also, which motherboard would you recommend to go with it? And what is a great video card for gaming?

I am hoping to keep the cost for everything under $600, but any suggestions would be great.

The lid has sticker residue, there are couple of holes, and cracks, and the cd cover to close the drive is totally snapped off. I don't even know whats between the keys.
