Hi when i come onto yahoo i keep getting a pop up advert for drive cleaner and when i try to say no thanks or the top red cross it returns every time and then proceeds to down load this cleaner how can i stop this i am a beginner in this sort of thing so please explain in plain language thanks

I deleted the history in the Internet Options then I deleted the cookies but when I went to the VIEW on the toolbar it still shows the sites visited what to do to make that disappear????????

I have 4 PCs on a wireless network. The 3 PCs with XP home work fine but the PC with XP Professional doesnt enable sharing with the XP Home PCs. I have gone through the network setup wizard so many times, turning file and printer sharing on....nothing works, The XP home PCs can see the XP Prof PC but cannot access the share files or the printer attached to the XP Prof PC. I have followed all the responses to my last question on Home Network problem,....none of the suggestions work. The only solution I am left with is to downgrade the XP Prof PC back to XP home. Can this be done? I only have the manufacturers copy of XP Home which doesnt give me the Windows repair option.

AVG antivirus has detected a virus called I-worm/VB.GG in 14 executable files(I don't know how they reached my comp)..all are like "My music.exe"," my playlist.exe" etc..All the virus are in the My shared documents folder.whatever I do the worm doesn't go.I tried to shift delete the exe files but all came back within a minute.The heal option in the AVG says successfully healed,but right after 2 min again 14 popups come up in a line saying "VIRUS DETECTED".What do I do.It is not letting me work...(system restore is off)..I have spyware doctor will it help...Please anything...

sometimes when i receive emails from friends that include picutres it's just a blank box with a little square in the top left hand side, with either a red cross in or 3 coloured shapes. i've tried right clicking mouse and clicking on show picture but doesnt work, can anyone tell me what i should do?, thanks
