First thing you need to ask yourself is why do you need broadband connection.
1) Just to check mails at some time in a day. Then you can go for a cheap broadband connection from local cable walla who will charge you no more that 400 rs per month. avg speed 64 kbps
2) chatting, browsing and some entertainment stuff, for information and relaxation. Want the network when you need it at your own time. You need to go for reliable connection like hathway, airtel, sify, youtelecom ( iquara) & tata cost will be around Rs 750 per month. speed 128 - 256 kbps.
However 100 % service is not guaranteed. only 9 am to 6 pm connection reliability.
3) Truely professional connection, and dont want to have any disconnections. Go for BSNL and you already know the rates at bsnl.in. Speed is 256 kbps and above.
Very reliable as your bsnl phone.

Start your own Broad band connection net work. You won't have to pay a penny and will make money by providing facilities to others

NO NO BSNL...I somewhat have MTNL BROADBAND,finished countless DOWNLOADIN FOR RS 949 A MONTH...SIFY charges RS 999...yet elements U WITH A CABLE LINE...SO NO MODEM REQUIRED..AND IS quick.,..do not TRUSTS BSNL..OR VSNL...THEY SUCK BRO..finished....SO low-fee perfect!!!!
