I need to find out my IP address, also what how do I access my raw log files?

when setting up a new user and laptop for them, we place them in their assigned group in AD. but laterly when we do they are getting the message:
the local police of this system does not permit you to logon interactively
yet when we remove them from the group and put them in an temp admin group with domain admin as their primary it allows us to log in netwrok-wise and locally to the laptop...
this has us stumped since the only change we have made has been locally changing the users from power users to restricted users...nothing to their profiles or accounts

One thing I would like is the laptop to not be bogged down from 4 webpages open at once.

currently have a pc with broadband connection in spare bedroom which whole family shares. just started uni want to purchase my own pc. internet is essential but can't afford to have a phone line installed in my room, pay the monthly line rental & pay for a second internet connection...is there a way i can use the current internet connection on both pcs & what features would the new pc need for this to work?

I've been using hotmail at home for years. Starting last week when I log into my hotmail account I can see all of my messages, however when I hit either reply, foreward, or new, my message window pops up as normal, but in the far left hand bottom of the screen it says, 'done, but with errors'. Whenever I try to send an email, I am sending a blank email, nothing I type appears, and I am unable to attach anything to my emails as it's wiped out. If I hit refresh, I send TWO blank emails. How can I fix this?

you know when you load up windows XP and it has the windows logo, and the loading bar? i dont like that, i want something else, i want to add more mods to my computer, make it more custom, how can i change that logo, you know, after it comes out of BIOS, and that stupid load up screen, the one i want to change, and the log in screen, how can i change the load up screen?

Hi,

I have my mail that comes into my yahoo inbox move to microsoft outlook (2002 version)

I have not had a problem with this arrangement for over a year now, but over the last 2 weeks I have started to receive these error messages from my outlook, 'Enter Network Password'.

I then have to re-enter my yahoo password and username in order for me to receive and send messages from my outlook.

The frequency of these error messages varies from every 5 minutes, sometimes around about every 10 minutes, sometimes every 20 minutes and sometimes every 3 minutes. They are no
set patterns.

Once I re-key my Yahoo password and username then everything works perfectly until I receive the next error message.

I have tried the information supplied by microsoft, where you delete the Security Key and this still has not solve the problem.

As such, I would be grateful if you could help me to get rid of this
annoying problem.

I have an Nvidia, Creative 3D Blaster Geforce 5600FX, 128Mb, AGPx8 Graphics card, WITHOUT a heatsink or fan. and wanted to ask, on a slim chance if any of you Yahoo-ers have one I could buy from or swap with you.
