this is all great thanks!

Can someone tell me a bit more about using an image as the link?

And also, if I do use an image, is it possible to locate it anywhere on the screen?

Most certainly.

If you want things the simple way, you can make simple HTML alterations.
Using the bold, italics, underline tags... for instance... , and respectively.
The font tag is another simple one you can make use of... and has multiple functions. The most common is to change the colour of text: Text ... will make red text. Similarly, (and the rest) will up the size of the text to 20pt. You can also use it to change the font face... e.g. Text.

But if you want to make things look more funky than that, you'll want to learn CSS... Since you didn't ask about CSS, I won't go listing such things here... but you can Google search it if you so wish, and its fairly easy to understand. It can be inserted into just about any tag just by using the style="" function.

I would definately advise learning about CSS style sheets. They're pretty easy to use and will save you hours of work in the long run

Yes, you can change the text to make it more visually stimulating.

I find it best to add the descriptive tags BEFORE , and don't forget to close them afterwards.
