Buy another one, or run it on the ac transformer/rectifier.

You probably have a defective battery. Try charging it overnight. If that doesn't work, just get a new battery. Unless you're too far from an outlet, don't use the battery. I think there's a way on most laptops to reduce how much battery power your laptop uses. Try turning the brightness on the screen down, or setting it to hybernate if you don't wiggle the mouse or type for a while.

Try that. Otherwise, just get a new battery. They need to run down COMPLETELY before being charged again the first time you use it.

battery usually in used is Li-on with as several disadvantages that's it lifespan is shorter than fromally Ni-cd. for time to time, due to concurrently used, it will decay and further until it only retains just a second. look for new battery.

sure u can buy a new one...yet you may ask if you can change the battery cells...this probably will cost you half the price u'd buy 4 a new battery...in the future....u'd not use ur battery except when u really need it...if u r close to a power outlet...just pull ur battery out & use the AC...& don't charge the battery when it needn't

Battery is dead, it will not hold a charge anymore this is normal.

You need to buy a new one.

try recharging over night and if that does not work, it is time for a new battery....
