Power Management?

I perform a complete virus scan with the free AVG program every morning at 4:00 AM. After the scan, the screen does not power down. I need to re-boot to get power management to work again. Why is this and what can I do to fix it?

Clearly AVG is interfering with your power management but it's hard to say why without more information. Contact the manufacturer of your computer for more information.
