Say you are riding at the speed limit of 50mph on a 1 lane dual carriageway road and you see a pothole, big enough to be very unpleasant bouncing over it, and you think it may be too late to safely avoid it.

Question 1: What would your natural reaction be?
Question 2: Do you know what is the proper way to handle it?

If you have had this experience before, what did you do? Afterwards, how did you feel about the way the handled it? Could you be better prepared and handled it better next time?

What car, if any, can I drive on a full motorcycle license? I'm aware of the three wheelers, indeed I used to have one, but I think there's a four wheeler that is covered with a M/B license.

It is an '02 model. It doesn't seem to hurt performance, it's just a pain always having oil blow out the carb. and on the paint.

When I put my finger over the hole (on a cold start of course) I can feel that the air coming out of the hole is constant with the popping noise. Could this hole be making this noise, if not what could possibly be the problem? It's not the valves nor the throttle bodies because I just had it serviced and they didn't mention anything about the noise. Thanks

Apparently I'm supposed to grease my swingarm bolt and use the grease fitting if it has one. So do I need some kind of grease gun to get it into the fitting, is there more than one kind of gun? If there is a grease fitting, do I still have to take to bolt off and grease it?

I bought some motorcycle leather trousers a few months ago and have put a little weight on since then. the trousers fit lovely round my legs but they are now just too tight around my tummy. Is there anyway i can stretch the waist an inch or so i will i have to wait for them to give a little on their own? ( they have only been worn 7 - 8 times and i can do them up...they are just not very comfortable!!)

I don't want to ask a mechanic because most of them round here give bulls**t answers I am becoming adept at repairing and servicing the bike so i'm not spanner shy
