hi a speedy lesson on tyres The one hundred ten skill the tyre is one hundred ten mm extensive The 70 is the intensity of the tyre 70% of the width so 88 mm The 17 skill suits on a 17 inch rim The final numbers and letters are the score and suitability as to climate So the tyre is slightly wider via 10 mm and four mm much less in intensity, this would throw out the speedo so would must be re calibrated Andy C

Some bikes have this info printed on them somewhere. Mine has it on the rear chrome chain cover. If your bike does not have it printed on it, then look up the answer in the Owner's Manual.

My Honda Shadow 600cc requires 28 psi in both tires, with 35 psi in the rear if carrying a large load.

I put 40 in my Fireblade, so 35 sounds right for a hornet. Is it a new one ? I really like the new styled ones. ( If in doubt just 'google' the make and size of tyre )

Tinkicker0 gave the best answer so far.
All Honda sport bikes suggest 32F & 36R
Check the sticker on the left side of the swingarm.
Sometimes the recommended tire pressure is on the VIN plate.

A good rule of thumb to follow is go by tyre size.
110 section front, 160 - 170 section rear - 32psi front 36rear.

120 section front, 180 - 190 section rear - 36psi front, 42psi rear.

The best way to get the definitive value is to pick up your owners manual, open it to where it says tyre pressures and take heed of what it says.
