A Ligier Ambra is a four wheel car that can be drove on a M/C licence it has a 505cc Diesel engine and is very light weight, because of these statistics it slips through a loop hole in the law which means it can be driven on a full UK M/C licence.

That's interesting where do you live? Just curious ! I know where I live at you have to have class "D" license first before you can get a motorcycle endorsement. There has even been talk of bumping the age limit up to 21 before you can get a motorcycle endorsement on your license.

Only a three wheel vehicle like " Del-Boys`" Robin Reliant or a `trike` may be driven on a motor cycle licence, these have a small engine capacity. Mobility vehicles for the disabled are covered by separate regulations.

You need a CBT in order to ride a moped or 125cc scooter or bike. THis is valid for 2 years and then needs to be renewed or converted into a full licence (road and theory test). There are various types of bike licences (direct access if you want to ride immediately) or A1 or A2 for various size restricitons.
