Drop them in boiling water for a few minutes, the heat will soften them. They are a pig to get on though, & they do get harder with age. Best of luck!

Hi common problem this had me tearing my hair out many times, but find this usually works..place rubbers in boiling water this will soften them maybe enough to slip them straight on! If that does,nt do it combine that with a small ammount of washing up liquid wiped just around the lip of the rubber. The rubber may also have a locating tang on it that lines it up depending wich side of the bank of carbs they fit to so just check to see if they are there and if so line them up. Hope this helps most of all keep calm they came off so they will go back on Gary B

Warm them up with a hair dryer.
It will make the rubber soft and pliable.
Spray with wd-40
I've found it's easier to pull the carbs on (stand in front of the bike, grab the carbs and put your foot on the footpeg for leverage) rather than trying to push them on.

try a little silicone grease or good old WD40.
