My clutch side grip on my gsxr is coming loose. I've heard WD40 will do a good job of making them stick... I've tried spraying wd40 inside the grip and letting it dry overnight, but it doesnt work at all. What else can I use besides hairspray and grip glue?

I know this is unorthodox, and I honestly understand if you just ignore me, but I am writing to you in the hopes that you can avert a disaster in my family. My uncle passed away last year and he left behind a bunch of bikes, that are tearing my family apart. Among the 7 or so bikes, that are custom and built by hand by my uncle, is a 1940s Harley Davidson FlatHead/Knuckle Head that we have to liqudate to take care of bills. The execative of his estate has been trying to sell these bikes, but he had a hard time finding someone who would evaluate them. One guy out of california did it, and said the entire lot of bikes is worth only 27k. Now I know you haven't seen them or anything, but this breaks my heart. They are worth much more than that. There are those in the family who are upset about the money. I just don't want to see my grandfather(execative) get ripped off...if I send you pics, will you help me? Again, I know this is off the wall, but I would be so thankful. Thank you. Tabitha

I'm considering buying a used cruiser (1985-1995) in the next 6-8 months. When I buy a used car I research using consumer guides that point out the plusses and minuses of each model and what to watch out for, but I haven't been able to find one for bikes. Any suggestions?

I'm confused about what to do at the pump. New driver, and when you have a motorcycle/moped at the pump, do you go in to pay first, or do you pull out and park, and then pay? Help please, lol thanks.

I am getting my motorcycle license this week, and I am still trying to figure out what to get. My dad drove a Harley, as does my cousin, who wants me to get one. However, another close friend of mine has a "crotch rocket" and makes the point that the only people who drive Harleys are men in a mid-life crisis or overweighted bearded white guys who don't get laid. I do notice younger guys and younger girls on the crotch rockets. Your thoughts?

I have a Husqvarna 350 TE, 1994, I am happy with this bike, but now is time to spend some money on tires, brakes and other stuff, in your opinion, do you think is worth to invest money on this bike? Engine is in very good condition. How do you compare this bike to newer models on this and other brands? I like stability of this bike at high speed on dirty roads...
I will appreciate your comments...thanks

Hi, i'm 16 and thinking of gettin a moped. I do not really want one but I am about to start working at a place about 3 miles away and the hours are 5:30pm to 10:30pm, 5 days a week. I am also starting college in September. But i'm 17 in 8 months and do not know whether to just wait and get a car, but if I did this I would have no way to get home everynight at 10:30 for the time being. Its quite a big purchase and can't really aford it. I also feel that if I get a moped it will slow me down in getting a car because of funds etc. Do you think I should stop worrying about the future, live for the moment and get one or wait till i'm 17. Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was wondering if there was something that you can put over the/replace the passenger seat on a motorcycle. like a hard plastic covering that makes the bike look more sporty. I think I have seen something like that on an R6 and maybe a Hayabusa once but that could be just the way the bike is made. I have an 07 ZZR600 and I wanted to buy something to cover the rear seat. just wondering.

My grandfather recently gave me his old motorcycle. It's not running, and needs parts, but I'm not sure of the year of the bike. It's a 1970's Honda CB 400 FOUR Super Sport, but I need to find the exact year. I have an '05 Honda Four Wheeler and it has badging on the frame, but I haven't found badging on the bike.

My nephew was in a horrendous motorcycle accident two days ago. He broke three vertebrae in his neck, shattered his right leg, broke his right arm and had the back of his head ripped open even though he was wearing a brand new helmet. He will be in the hospital for months and still faces the possibility of being paralized. I've been riding bikes for over 30 years. Maybe it's time to stop.

I'm looking to buy a helmet. Everytime i go into a shop they laugh at me and won't help me. I'm not sure they understand that the helmet really is for me and that i'm not just getting it for kicks. I was looking on-line but every site i went to they are $300+. Do you know of a place or site i could try?
