I have an 83 Honda Magna V45 which has a light that says overdrive. When I shift into 5th gear, this light turns on.

What is overdrive and when should I use it while riding?

I have a 1980 honda twinstar cm200. It's stuck in a gas station parking lot because it died, I dont know why! It will start up but wont idle with out the choke. Unless I start riding it but then it just dies again after a while. It's leaking from a tube under the bike I'm not sure what it's called I think maybe breather tube though not for the battery. Also it makes a scary clunking sound when I shift into first gear. I just had the carburetor cleaned well, and the battery replaced. Dose anyone have an idea of what could be going on? I need to figure it out soon, I'm worried it will get towed or worse stolen! Any help would be great. Thank you!

Bike needs nothing and has less than 12,000 miles on it. I of course will have someone check the bike out to confirm that nothing is wrong. I offered him $1,000 if the bike is in perfect condition. I think I will get the deal. Is this a fair price? I never rode a bike before but let me say this, THIS BIKE WILL ONLY BE USED IN THE PARKING LOT! I know a lot of people say get a 250cc. But I know a lot of people who started out with 600cc and are fine. This year I only plan to use this bike for practice out of the streets unless I get really good with it before summer is over. With that said, what do you guys think? How much would you pay for this bike personally?

The other day while idling at a stop light on my aptly-named crotch rocket, I realized that if the light stayed red long enough, I could ahem.

That got me wondering - would anyone actually want to? While riding your own bike or even as a passenger?

Sounds funny I know "No thank you, I'll pass on the orgasm," but really - the last place I want to lose focus and then require a nap is on the bike!

i have a Yamaha vstar 1100 and its better than a harley. its less to maintain compare to harley costing hundreds of $$$$$$ just to have a oil change. paying that much for a harley oil change is ridicous.. dont get me wrong harley owners, theyre great looking bikes. how come harley have not come out with a shaft driven?
i ride with all types of motorcycles and good friends...

Yep, I've killed my battery by leaving ignition on for about 5 mins without engine running (does that sound right? the owner i have JUST boguht it off says it's a new battery..)

So now I'm trying to access the battery behind the tank, but it needs to be in 'maintenence mode' which is something to do with the immobiliser key's buttons, but i'm not quite sure how to do it.. any hhelp very appreciated! thanks,

That is on the right side of my 2001 kawaski ninja, see right about the cable there is a metel bracket and a little plastic round washer looking thing. i came outside yesterday and it was fallen over. it was leaking out of that i found the little peice that broke off and it will fit right back on. do you think a little JB weld it back together and put a little around that area will do the trick? What is that peice right there? could i put jb weld on the inside of the peice also on that little black washer and then put the peice that broke off along to make sure it wont come off? I cant afford a new clutch cover case so i need a fix. i got plenty of JB weld.

I have an '81 honda cb400. The bike is low on power until it hits about 6000rpm then there's plenty of power. Will adjusting the idle jet on the carbs increase the low rpm power? Could there be a compression problem or would that rob power at all rpm? Does timing affect power differently at different rpm? Any other thoughts on what might be at the root of the low power?
