a) make it too bulky
b) weigh too much

So forget the hybrid motorcycle. Instead -- wait for it --
The fully electric motorcycle! I've seen one of these about a decade ago, and Los Angeles Times reported on another a couple of weeks ago.

prob wont see one any time soon you can get 60 + mpg on a new bike why add the weight and cost of batteries ?

Most cycles get 75-80 mpg anyway so the cost of adding a battery and charging system isn't necessary.

There won't be one.

Hybrid's require battery packs for the electric operation. The battery packs are bulky and heavy. Too bulky and heavy to put in a motorcycle frame.
