That is on the right side of my 2001 kawaski ninja, see right about the cable there is a metel bracket and a little plastic round washer looking thing. i came outside yesterday and it was fallen over. it was leaking out of that i found the little peice that broke off and it will fit right back on. do you think a little JB weld it back together and put a little around that area will do the trick? What is that peice right there? could i put jb weld on the inside of the peice also on that little black washer and then put the peice that broke off along to make sure it wont come off? I cant afford a new clutch cover case so i need a fix. i got plenty of JB weld.

The main problem will be the oil seal.
If the inside of the JB weld isn't exactly machined to accommodate the seal, the seal will leak (and possibly work it's way out).
Not to scare you. I've had a lot of success with JB weld.
Remove the cover.
Remove the clutch activator and seal.
Clean both mating surfaces of the break with "contact/brake" cleaner.
Apply JB weld to the mating surfaces and remove any excess at the seal area.
After the JB weld cures, apply more around the broken piece, crack and case.
Install the seal with liquid gasket around the outside of the seal.
Install a new crankcase cover gasket.
Keep an eye out for leaks.
Good luck.

Well you obviously don't read emails.

You can try the JB Weld...it can't hurt to try. But as soon as possible you should get a new clutch cover.

I think JB might work while you order the correct part.
Also check ebay. There just may be an affordable replacement for the broken item.
Replace the broken item with an original. You don't want your bike to look trashy.

Wold not recommend a weld or glue.

Is that your clutch line????

Take it in to a local re-builders shop and save the oem gouging.
