Ebay!!! I swear by it. I have found every single part for my motorcycles I have looked for that I couldnt find calling around for. Now i just cut the middle men and go straight for ebay. Prices are great too. Go though the paypal program and thats just like insurance and if the product for some reason doesn't meet your standards you can usually send it back!!!!

any motorcycle shop will have 1 or they can order you one and have it in 1-2 days.

look and see what brand your bike is(honda, suzuki, yamaha....) then look for a shop that works on or deals that kind of bike call them
