my '07 GMC qualified for a lemon law claim...it's been a few months since I've been working with an attorney. He finally filed a law suit in court because GM kept offering me crap. My attorney typed up this 20 page paper and paid a court fee to file the suit. We actually don't have to show up in court, the papers just go to the judge, i guess? How much longer will this take since he already filed the law suit? I know I should ask my attorney this, but I can rarely get ahold of him since he is really busy.
Thanks!

My bf took his 2002(?) VW Golf to dealer for 90,000 check-up, and they are charging $1375 because they say he has a cracked coolant reservoir and needs new brake pads. Also doing oil change and other fluids replacement. This seems like highway robbery to me.

I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant V6, that has a wierd noise when I start it in cold weather. It's not a squealing, but the motor just sounds rough and overly loud. When we get on the road, and the engine gets warmed up, it's fine and runs quiet like usual.........
Thought it was a belt, (I knew I needed belts replaced anyway), so I got that done this weekend and still hasnt fixed the noise....... what else could this be? I've read things about oil, could it be a fan??? Help...........

Around 7:50 this morning i went over a curb because my sister was arguing with me about something stupid. I checked the tires and nothing was wrong but noticed a leak. Went to Mr.Lube and got my oil topped up around 8:30 and they said i had to get it fixed.

Question: What can i do right now to keep it from leaking too much?! I still need tp pick up my sister from work!

I have a 97 Chevy Cavalier that has been giving me trouble for about a month. On random occasion I will go to start it and turn the key and no sound at all. The radio and lights come on and everything but no sound from the engine. Usually around 30 minutes to a few hours later it starts right up. I took it to a shop and told them to look at the clutch sensor (it is a 5 speed manual) and basically they couldn't figure it out, but said I would need a new battery... so I went ahead and did that. Basically after spending $300 bucks and not getting any closer to a solution it did it again the other night... but this time I kept at it and finally it gave it and made noise and turned over...

Any ideas on what it might be? I really don't want to take it to another shop and not get any answers... and I am sick of it being unreliable.

I turn on my car and it starts good. sometimes when im at stop signs the idle jumps up and down. other times when im stopped the engine just shuts off and i need to start it up again. it starts right up again and drives fine its only when im stopped that there are problems. what could this be? do you think it will be expensive to fix?

So, a few days ago my temperature gauge started reading high...but then sometimes it wouldn't even register. My temperature on my car has always been fine up until now. A few days after my gauge went on again off again, the car overheats. It has also been loosing power, it seems. I was told to change the thermostat. What do you think? I have a 1990 Nissan Sentra.

Does it really need it's own chome pipe to function better? Can't I just put a high flow round air filter where the huge air flow box (which houses the square paper filter) is now AND get the same kind of results if I weren't to replace the current pipe with a new chrome one? I ask because it seems to be more money and time consuming to replace the pipe with a different one, when the stock one will probably work the anyway

I'm looking through my car's manual (1992 Acura Integra) on changing the air filter. It seems pretty straight forward and I think I can do it myself- but I'm by no means a mechanic.

I was wondering if maybe the manual has left out certain important steps that I might not know about.
