look at your dip stick some have writing on it and will say below, ok, or overfill. Take out you dip stick clean it and put it back in then take it out and read where the oil is on the dip stick that will tell you if your oil is ok. if you just put oil in and its lower then the level of last time you might have a leak or you could be burning oil because of the high mileage on the car wear and tear on an engine. are you sure you have that many miles on it???

Check the oil level on the dipstick. There is a range that it should be between.

It could be your head gasket, have a shop run a compression test on the cylinders.

good luck.

Could be a number of things.........all bad.

Head gasket....maybe........check your coolant level .......if it's down........prob head gasket.

could also be blown piston rings........if so engine is toast.

could be blown valve seal or seals.......head rebuild in order.......same as toast on this engine.
