I have a Mini Cooper S and a Lexus ES300. My Mini has electricity and the other one doesn't. I happen to have the transfer wire thing but how do I hook it up and how do I do it.

do you mean the battery of your other car is dead, then you need a jump start cable. just plug the red on the + and the other on the - portion of both cars, do not touch them bear hand or wet it'll shock you. and turn on the cars. 1th the good car then the one with the bad battery. if it doesn't start then you need a new battery.

You are talking about a set of jumper cables.

Briefly, hook the red lead to the cars + terminal with the dead battery, then hook the other end to the + terminal of the good battery. Then hook the black cable to the - terminal of the good battery, and then ground the other end to the metal body of the car with dead battery.
