I own a 1985 Honda Magna. It is a V-twin I do believe. Well on the V-twin part of my bike, which is black. If you are familiar with these bikes or others like it, you will know that the v-twin part has what appears to be 4 separate carberators on them. I am not sure if they are carbs, but they appear to be. On those carbs are a sort of nipple with a screw on the side of it. It appears as if those nipples are leaking gas. It is leaking from somewhere , and it appears as if it coming from them nipples. But only 2 of them are doing it. Can anyone tell me why, and how to fix it?

I had a burning smell and then the fan heater was staying on even when the knob was on position 0.
I took it to local garage who needs to strip the cover to diagnose which heater part is faulty. For safety and stop the smell he has disconnected the connectors to the heating system.
My car is 03 Nissan Almera. Will any heating part is covered under warranty or safety recall? How dangerious was this problem, could the car have caught on fire.
Thanks

there are some new spark plugs ,well they are called pulse plugs that just came out. they say that they give more torque and horsepower because it uses electronic pulses to create 1,000,000 wattsthey also save more gas because they burn the fuel more efficiently. do these pulse plugs really work? check them out http://www.pulstarplug.com/

My aunt's car was involved in an accident today. The damage to her vehicle was limited to the left front panel and wheel.
The other car sustained major damage to the front end and hood. The other car had paint transfer(from my aunt's car) on the front bumper. I was wondering does this mean that the other woman's car was traveling at a high rate of speed to cause paint transfer only on her car, not my aunt's. The woman and my aunts car driven by a co-worker got into an accident while the co-worker was leaving an parking lot and the old lady entering. For the damage sustained the only was we figure the accident was the old woman made to wide a turn into the parking lot and hit a slow moving or stationary car of my aunt. The damage to the lady's car totaled it and the damage to my aunt's was mostly wheel related, broken spring and such slight body damage as well, also her driver side door won't fully close. Estimated damage is at $2000. Not to bad...Please let me know on paint transfer.

I'm contemplating on buying a '95 Grand Voyager. It has 166000 miles and according to the owner, the only thing wrong with it is an oil leak from the rear seals. I'm trying to find out if this would be worth the $900 that they want for the van, and if it's terribly expensive to fix a leak like that.

I went to my Mechanic to have my SUV serviced & checked out for a Long Distance road trip. ( Michigan - Cali)
The Mechanic found out I have a "Bad tie-Rod"!
How dangerous would it have been if I hadn't had the vehicle checked out?

I'm also going to be pulling a small utility trailer.

i'm in the middle of changing out the intake manifold gaskets on a 99 camaro v6 3800. While i was taking the valve covers off i noticed alot of milky stuff all over the right valve cover where the oil fill is. I was just wondering what it could be or if changing the intake manifold gaskets would fix it. I changed the oil not too long ago and their was no water in the oil pan or on the dipstick. so i dont know if its the head gaskets or what. Any help would be much appreciated.

I have had my 1999 Mercury Sable for about 3 years. Ever since I have gotten it, I can never get more than 200 miles out of a tank of gas, where my moms 1998 Dodge Stratus could get upwards of like 400 miles. We were supposed to get the same mileage, but if drives her car to a place 30 miles away, her gauge doesn't move. I drive mine 30 miles, it sucks up a quarter of a tank. I have looked at the air filter, and it looks clean, I just had my spark plugs changed earlier in the year and my fuel line has been flushed and should be clean. Are Mercury Sables just bad on gas?

I just bought a used car, and after checking the strength of anti-freeze with tester it showed to be weak. My friend drained about half of radiator, and added about 3/4 gallon straight anti-freeze topping it off. He said it being a little strong wouldn't hurt, but after checking manual says should mix 50/50 with water.

OK, so I take my 1998 Infiniti Q45 (179K) in to get the exhaust checked... It's not as quiet as it used to be, but not loud at all. They lifted it up, and just from a visual inspection, they tell me that BOTH catalytic converters are bad - and that each part costs $1,311, for a grand total of $2,915.93 (including installation). There is NO check engine light on, but there is a slight rattle when I accelerate. Gas mileage is pretty good for a V-8 (I fill up about every 6 days), no black smoke, exhaust comes out hot, car does not overheat, so I'm not sure the converter(s) is bad. I looked online, and found these parts (including pipes) for $285. Even if both converters are bad, is this price excessive? Also, how likely is it that BOTH converters are damaged, and how can they know for sure without actually checking the converters out?

Well, I had my car rust proof 2 days ago. After I got home, I looked under my car, and I hardly saw any of the yellow rust proof undercoating... By the trunk area, i only saw the yellow coating on two bolts only. By the door area, i looked under my car, and I did not see any rust proof coating at all.... I also checked other areas, underneath my car, and did not see any coating as well...

Did i get ripped off or what? I feel as if they hardly sprayed any rust proof coating on my car.... How can do I confirm this?

Here are some codes I got out of it:

P0707 = Transmission Range Sensor Circuit Low Input
P0430 = Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank no. 2 )
P0732 = Gear no. 2 Incorrect Ratio
P0733 = Gear no. 3 Incorrect Ratio
P0741 = Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance or Stuck Off

The P0430 code is probably unrelated to the transmission problem. Any suggestions? Is this electrical? Does the trans even need to be dropped? Please no suggestions that involve "bring it to a mechanic." I am looking for details on how to solve the problem myself. I have above average knowledge on auto repair and will do the necessary repairs myself. Just was wondering if anyone has had this problem before, and also what they did to solve it. Thanks in advance for any help. :)

I bought my scout 2(1980) when i was in highschool and it has been out of commission for 3 years now due to ignitors burning out inside the distributor. I burned 2 brand new ignitors and dont know what the problem is. We did leave the truck idling for and hour or two because we just rebuilt the heads and wanted the gaskets to set. Any ideas will be helpful.

I drive a 2001 Acura 1.7 and the other day I lost my fuel cap for the gas tank. 2 days later the engine light came on and I looked in my auto book which stated that a gas cap not securely on will cause this to stay on.

I purchased a generic cap from a auto parts store and in the manual for my car it states one driving trip will enable the engine light to turn off. I've driven like 4 times and the engine light still remains on, can someone tell me why the light won't go off? I'm hoping it's still the gas cap that's the problem.
