Can I add Stabil fuel stabilizer to coleman camp fuel? Has anyone ever tried this before, and how long would the fuel be good for as opposed to without stabil? Thanks.

The reason gas at the pump gets stale is because of all of the additives. The gas Coleman uses is what used to be called WHITE GAS and has no additives. The additives in gas at the pump are strictly for gasoline burning engines.
No stabilizer is needed.

What did the plug look like before you added the stable ? Just replace the plug and see what happens. Some people like to say old gas is no problem. It is not a problem in car engines, they are much more forgiving up to a point. Two stroke engines DO NOT run well on gas with any type of containment in it. Stabil will help, but again only up to a point. It is never a bad idea to replace the gas if you suspect it has water in it. You can tell for sure by draining the tank into a glass jar and observing, if there is water in it it will show up.

It would ruin the fuel. Colemans use naptha. It's completely different from gasoline.

Why?

Pour the remaining fuel into your car and get fresh fuel next camping season.
