I need help resolving why my car is full of water after it rains. I have a pool in my trunk, my back seats are soaked and the floors have puddles there is so much water. it is worse on the passenger side. I noticed it after a particularly nasty wind/rain storm. please help as I can't go through winter like this. I've read about drainage valves in other threads but I don't know where to look on my car for them. thank you!

if it is the seals, is it something i can repair myself with silicone or something until I can afford to have it done properly?

Do your doors apear to close all the way?
Is it especialy noisy on one side of the car when driving fast?(windy)
If the doors are closed, can you still push the door a little bit more closed?

It may be a simple adjustment with the door striker/latch that a mechanic could adjust while you wait.
It takes about 5-10 minutes.

If the door does not stay shut all the way against the weather stripping, water from the roof will poor in.

Just a thought.

Sounds like you have a bad seal on one of your windows and trunk I'd take it in and see if it's repairable if not cover your car in plastic during rain and snow storms don't know what else to tell you. Your car shouldn't have a drainage valve because you shouldn't get water inside the car like that

Well; lets give it a shot. Where the wipers are; there are usually 2 little rubber hoses which drain any liquids. Usually they get full of leaves and other garbage.. Clean out the entire area where the w/wipers are. Make sure the drain tubes are clear, (use a hose and wash everything)
Close the hood and have a friend spray where the vents are (at the end of the hood) and you get a flashlight And look hard while someone sprays at the area I mentioned. Good luck.
