Hi I took my car to the Toyota dealership for service for my Camry. It is a new dealership because I moved.

The symptoms of the car was that it was wiggly on highway speeds and veering a bit to the left. Basically, the steering wheel felt odd, like I could control it. It felt kind of like a video game where the wheel turns a lot more than it should and on its own, plus my car almost went into different lanes.

The mechanic corrected the alignment and rotated the tires. He said the alignment was off.

But when I got my car back, I could just feel that the steering was odd, even though they had me drive another Camry.

Well yesterday I was on the highway and my car was wiggling again. I slowed down to 40mph in the slow lane because I got so scared.

What could be causing this? They told me it must be the highway pavement. The highway does look a bit battered, but I have driven across country and NEVER had this problem.

Thank you for any help.

I drive a red 02 cavalier and about 60 percent of the clear coat has peeled off the trunk. What can I do to fix this. I'm looking for alternatives instead of getting it done and spending all that money.

I just replaced the radiator thermosensor, so that should be working. The fuse is also fine.

I think the problem is the fan relay, but I don't know how to fix this or where it is.

It's an old car, so I don't want to spend much money on it, and I want to do it myself.

I've a 'Hurricane' lawnmower from the early 50's with a Clinton engine that runs very well. The thing is unbelievably well built and belonged to my meticulious father....I want to use it...... however, it has a novel bell anf rubber flywheel friction drive and the rubber flywheel which looks like a 8' mounted tire of extremely hard rubber has deteriorated making it unusable....I've tried sevral ways to rig a replacement and even had the center hub 'retreaded fronm a tire manufacterer but tire rubber is just too soft and it breaks up quickly....looking for parts in all the wrong places...any help?

I'm going abroad next month for about 6 weeks. I'm wondering what should I do with my car's battery? Should I just leave it in my car for 6 weeks unused, or should I just take it out? I live alone, so I have no one to drive it.

what is going on its cranking but its not even attempting to turn over. i changed all filters and bled and cleaned the system of air and debris(if there were any)

the starter is cranking and turning the fan belt but could it be a starter problem?

like our old engines would attempt to turn then fail, then works the next time. but this one just cranks, no turning at all.

im usually pretty good but im just out of it and kind of confused. this is frustrating me a bit so any help or advice will do.

I have a fairly new 350 in my chevy truck. One of the lifters is knocking and I need info. on how to resolve it. My friend told me I can take the valve cover off and tighten it down while it,s running. He said to tighten it down till the noise stops then back it off a quarter turn. I could really use some help here. I need to know exactly what to look for and what not to do as well as what to do. Thanks Broke w/ two kids

I've been trying to get my alternator off my car for the last 5 hours and I got it free finally after cutting a bolt off then its to big to get out of the engine compartment so I have to remove the brakets and now those bolts are so tight they are just rounding off when I try and loosen them. why is this happening I'm using the right size sockets and I sprayed all kinds of penitration oils on it and still they won't break free. I can't cut them off because I don't want to accidently cut a vacuum line and I can't heat them because its to close to the oil pan and the carberator. and I can't drill them out because there isn't enuf room to get a drill there.

It had been making a whiny noise when I started the car, now the sound is worse and won't start at all. Could it be the starter? Battery is 6 months old and gave it a jump and no difference. Also there appears to be some rusty goldish sludge in my reserve tank for my coolant that traveled into my radiator, I'm sure I need a radiator flush but could this have traveled into the engine and messed it up? Thanks! (1989 Honda Civic)

Having some problems with my Ford Sierra. After driving it for a while, the engine starts missing and I have to pull over and switch the engine off. It will sometimes start back up straight away and carry on for a couple miles before doing the same. The longer the car is left to cool down though, the longer it will run before starting to miss again.

It first started on a 100 mile journey after about 95 miles but I then took it to a garage and had the tappets repaired, distributor checked and rotor arm checked. I thought it was ok then and drove it over 120 miles with no problems but then it started again. Ever since then, it has gotten worse and happens within the first 30 miles.

Spark plug leads, spark plugs and distributor cap have all been changed, which I heard are common causes for this problem on the Sierra, but hasn't solved the problem.

Any other ideas what could be causing this?

Engine is a 1.8 CVH

My 325 is idling extremely rough. The RPMs fluctuate between 100 and 1,200. Sometimes it will sit at 1,200 for a minute or so, then begin violently fluctuating again. When the RPMs dip, it acts like it's about to stall, then jumps way back up to 1,200 again. It only does this when idling; otherwise the car drives normally.

Any ideas why this might be? Is it a fuel pump/line problem or something else?

Just did a side by side comparison of the Focus and Corolla and the results were suprising to me. The Focus got 4.5 stars for overall long-term dependability. The Corolla got 4 stars. Both good ratings, but how does this support the notion that Toyota has superior reliability over Ford? Perhaps the difference in quality is not as much as we think?
