we own a 93 cavilier and last night we were driving down the road and it just died. we started it again and put it in drive, went about 3 feet and it happened again. repeat. finally parked and called for a ride. what would cause this?

My car had a low tire pressure warning light come on, but when I had the oil changed the next day, they put air in all the tires and the light went away. But now it is back, and after measuring the tire pressure in all 4 tires, I determined it was the front driver tire that was low. I inflated it a couple of PSIs above the recommended, but the warning light is still on. I measured the other 3 and they seem fine. I am know I have an issue with one of my tires since when I had the oil change the message went away, but not sure which tire it is anymore. Need help on how to handle this situation, I hate going to a tire place and acting ignorant. Should I still assume it is still that front driver tire (although I know it is over-inflated now), or is that dumb since I know that is the only tire that is over the recommended? Such a simple situation, but really hard to figure out... Thanks for your help.

Where is the seatbelt warning sensor on a 1991 Infiniti G20? I notice my warning light and chime go off and wonder if the sensor has gone bad or is it a relay switch. It doesn't seem to do it with the passenger seat, just the driver's seat. I wonder how do you fix it besides unplugging the fuse, which I would like to avoid. Thanks for the help.

I don't know much, if anything about cars. My problem is thus: I own a 1999 Hyundai Tiburon. It's the most stripped down version of the car available. Soon after the automatic transmission was replaced with a rebuilt one the car started to sort of stutter or hiccup when you first pressed down on the accelerator at a green light. We drove it like that for some time and it got progressively worse, to the point where sometimes it would only idle forward at first. We'd press down hard on the accelerator and it would go slow and then speed up suddenly and forcefully.

All of a sudden the car got incredbly worse. It now hardly accelerates at all and we have to ease very very very gently on pedal with bated breath just to get it to go. It also will not shift into fourth gear at all. When the engine is running while in drive or reverse and not moving, you can feel it 'hiccuping' repeatedly. When it's in P it does not do that.

What could be the problem? Anyone??

I own a 1991 Chev. Caprice with a 5.0 engine. the car has always been taken care of immaculately however, it has developed a problem.the car starts fast and idols smooth until it reaches its full operating temp. then whenever you put a load on the engine the entire ignition system cuts in and out all 8 clinders at once.the miss is random. so far to repair the problem I have replaced the ignition swich, the ignition module, the coil,the cap and rotor, all wires and spark plugs, I even replaced the distributer. all primary and secondondary ignition components have been replaced and the problem persists!.The engine timeing chain has been checked and its A-ok. All wireing harnesses check out good. No trouble codes show up.I have also replaced the T.P.S., the MAP, PVC, and checked the fuel pump changed all filters, checked the injectors all check out good! any ideas out there????

I have change the water pump... hose's... sencer switches... raditor... thermastat. And I don't think its a blown head gasket because no water is mixing with the oil or exiting out of tail pipe. Please help with any thoughs you may have. Thanks a million and May God Bless.

Replaced the battery 2 days ago, still won't hold a charge, I have to jump start it, then an hour later it's dead again. I have an ignition interlock on it, could that be draining the battery, or could it be something else?

the air smells like weird... it doesnt stink like old water or in a stinky way? it just has like this dry weird smell, maybe like an engine smell or something? what can i replace or clean out to fix this problem?

It seems like it would be a pretty direct connection from the live battery to the dead car's starter. I have some very nice cables. Is it quicker to ground on something metal or just black to black red to red?

I accidently put straight antifreeze into my car today. I went back and added some water, but I know a lot leaked out from the overflow valve. I continued to add water little by little despite it leaking from the overvlow valve. Will my car be ok?

my mitsubishi lancer keeps burning oil and i don't know why, i have to fill it with oil every week. It's not leaking because i looked for a leak and it is clean. Every now and then it starts to smoke, i'm thinking it is going into the exhaust but not sure, can someone help please.

When l was driving on the freeway the other day l noticed my engine temp. was higher than usual, but still inside the normal range on the guage. When l dropped the speed back down to 60 in the city the guage dropped back down to the lower end of the noraml range. what could be wrong??? l have checked oil and water and that sort of stuff. l thinking it could be something more serious. does anyone have any thoughts??? it is a 1982 toyota corona - its a good car to me!!

The car is a 2001 Chevy Impala, with about 67000 miles on it. Never had an issue till now. I get regular oil changes and stuff like that.
