Last night when i was driving, someone moved into my lane, almost hitting my car, I swerved, and hit the curb, badly damaging the rims on the passenger side of the car. i stopped immediatly, and had my car towed to a tire shop.
this morning when they opened, they called me and told me they took the car into the shop, and looked at it and told me that it needed hundreds of dollars worth of work.
I took my husband (who is a mechanic of 10 years) with me when he got off work, to the garage, he asked if they aired the tires up at all to move it, the guy said "NO, we drove slowly"
when I left my car last night, there was still air in the tires, and both the police officer, and the tow truck driver told me there was still air in the tires, which seeped out through the night. the tires were not damaged last night. but now, since they drove it, my husband said there is sidewall damage. and we have to replace the tires.
I would like to know if it is ok to call the garage and tell them I

Im a very new driver. I want to go to Exxon to fill up my car with Unleaded gas with 87 octane using my credit.. can you teach me step-by-step how I operate the fuel pump?
I tried to do it but it charged me 61 cents and didnt fill my car's tank? These are the steps I took:
I inserted and removed my credit card
pressed debit and entered my pin
pressed 87 octane
removed the pump
and started fueling.
But it didnt work, it charged me 61 cents

What did I miss?

When I bought this car it came with a 1000 mile warranty.Just like typical, when my warranty was up- problems started. What is the biggest &basically the only problem? Overheating! Horrible, it would overheat to the point that it would redline on the temp gauge. Coolant loss, 10 foot puddles out in front of the car and one BIG headache! Everywhere i went - I had to make sure I had plenty of coolant. Took it to a mechanic. The hose had a gash in it.. they replaced the hoses. It's fixed! No, its OVERHEATING AGAIN! What the hell? Changed the temp sensor. Ex kept driving it, and let it overheat to the point where it wouldn't start. Cracked the block. Engine = Seized. Total revamping went on. New Engine. New Heater Core. New fluids.New brakes.New thermostat & gasket, new spark plugs, new temp sensor. But its doing it again - overheating, coolant boiling and gushing out the overflow hose! Water pump was fine when the new engine went in.im frustrated. Its costing more than its worth! HELP!!

I noticed what appears to be grease on one front wheel of my car, as if it had spun out to the edges when the wheel is spinning at speed. I washed it off, and it came back when i drove. What might the cause be?

The steering wheel turns easily for a quarter turn and then it gets hard, then easily again. This is more pronounced when I am driving slowly 30mph or less. I had the right tie rod end and power steering pump replaced with no change. When it got really cold the problem seemed to go away. It does not make any noise that I know of. What is the problem?

the light that tells me my ebrake is on along with the ABS light randomly come on. When they are on (and sometimes when they aren't) my car takes all control of my windows and my air. The light comes on seemingly randomly. I wouldnt mind so much except I can't turn on my defroster when the lights come on, and if I'm driving when it happens I'm afraid my window will fog up where I can't pull over.

Does this sound like a wiring problem, or something that is really wrong with my brakes and its taking my power for safety or something? Like, as a feature?

1989 chevy 1500 p/u. 5.7 liter TBI it runs and starts fine for about 30 secs and then quits like you shut the key off. new fuel filter and it holds a constant 13 psi fuel pressure. it has a nice blue spark from the coil to cap and to plug wires. i have changed the thermostat and intake manifold gaskets for they were leaking. and everything is hooked up right. ground wires are hooked to the thermostat housing as well. it sounds like something is just shutting the spark off. tried a new module and then the whole distributor off a running truck with the same response. looking for good ideas or experience with the same problem. thanks and happy holidays
