I have a 94 Trans Am V8 Lt-1 engine with distributor. The spark plugs are sort of under the exhause manifold (I think that's what their called).

It seems like a lost cause to me. I started a couple times but I never get far.

I have a battery problem. Its leaking and I can't find out where it is comming from. My whindsheld fluid line has melted away, I took the battery out and nutralize the acid that was on the battery tray with baking soda and viniger. The battery cap is on and tight. Is there anything else I can do, or just get a new battery?

when i turn the to start position all warnning light came on also emergency light are flashing,i also don't have a turn signal check bulbs and fuses and flasher are working and engine light also on started when i lost my gas cap.

HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THE TWO DUCK HUNTERS FROM WISCONSIN?

ABSOLUTELY TRUE STORY HEARD ON A WISCONSIN RADIO STATION REPORTING ON THE INCIDENT.

A guy buys a new Lincoln Navigator for $42,500.00 (with monthly payments of $560.00).

He and a friend go duck hunting in mid-winter; and of course all of the lakes are frozen. These two guys go on a lake with their GUNS, a DOG, and of course the New NAVIGATOR.

They decide they want to make a natural looking water area for the ducks, something for the decoys to float on. Now making a hole in the Ice large enough to invite a passing duck, is going to take a little more power than the average drill auger can produce.

So, out of the back of the new Navigator comes a stick of dynamite with a short 40 second-fuse. Now our two Rocket Scientists, afraid they might slip on the ice while trying to run away after lighting the fuse
(and becoming toast, along With the Navigator),decide on the following course of action:

They lite the 40 second fuse; then, with a mighty thrust, they throw the stick of dynamite as far away as possible.

Remember a couple of paragraphs back when I mentioned the NAVIGATOR, the GUNS, and the DOG...???

Let's talk about the dog: A highly trained Black Lab used for RETRIEVING. Especially things thrown by the owner.

You guessed it: the dog takes off across the ice at a high rate of speed and grabs the stick of dynamite, with the burning 40-second fuse, just as it hits the ice.

The two men swallow, blink, start waving their arms and, with veins in their necks swelling to resemble stalks of rhubarb, scream and holler at the dog to stop. The dog, now apparently cheered on by his master, keeps coming. One hunter panics, grabs the shotgun and shoots the dog. The shotgun is loaded with #8 bird shot, hardly big enough to stop a Black Lab. The dog stops for a moment, slightly confused then continues on. Another shot, and this time the dog, still standing, becomes really confused and of course terrified, thinks these two geniuses have gone insane. The dog takes off to find cover, under the brand new Navigator.

The men continue to scream as they run. The red hot exhaust pipe on the truck touches the dogs rear end, he yelps, drops the dynamite under the truck and takes off after his master. Then .....

The truck is blown to bits and sinks to the bottom of the lake, leaving the two idiots standing there with...... "I can't believe this just happened" looks on their faces.

The insurance company says that sinking a vehicle in a lake by illegal use of explosives is NOT COVERED by the policy. He still had yet

to make the first of those $560.00 a month payments ...

The dog is okay ...

AND THEY MAKE FUN OF PEOPLE IN THE SOUTH?

I'm tossing out a lot of words because I know very little. Don't feel obligated to answer all of the question- throw in your two cents where you can. Here we go:

The plastic fuse casing around the blue 100a fuse, in my '91 Corolla is partially melted. Part of the plastic wall between the 100a fuse and the adjacent fuse is melted. Although it looks like I could still physically insert a new fuse, I don't know if I should.

1. Do I need a new fuse box?

2. If I need a new fuse box- Is it purchased as a stand-alone part, or are there other parts connected to the fuse box that must also be replaced?

3. How much does it cost to replace a fuse-box (and accompanying parts)?

4. How difficult is it to replace the fuse box (and accompanying parts if needed? Can I do it or is it best left to a mechanic?

My mom's car won't start. We tried to Jump Start it but it would not work. Is there any recalls on that particular car? Is there a short in the ignition possibly? The same thing happened to my father. Please tell me how we can get it to start again.

i have an1995 ford explorer limited 4x4 and the drivers side headlight does nt work now. i replaced the bulb and still nothing. Does anyone know if theres fuses for each headlight and if so is there a downloadable diagram i can pull off the computer to see which one it is?

I need to replace a fuse in my 1999 FORD TAURUS. I have no manual and I need to know where the fuse panel is, I assume under the dash. Lasst winter was my first year with this vehicle. Come November/December last winter I could not start my vehicle. Well for the last week this winter I have been having troubles starting it also. i took in into one dealership (selling dealership) probely 4 times last winter and they changed the sparks and checked the battery. The I took it to another dealership 3 more times. After 7 times it ran better and during the warmer months no troubles. This winter (today) the problem started again. I can not start my vehicle. It sucks because it is out of warranty now and I can not do an thing with it to start it. Going to have to take it back into the dealership. Both dealerships looked at me like I was nuts. Looking like another dealership visit again tomorrow morning after I jump start it. Any ideas what it may be? Any help things.

the problem started about 3 month ago where i will be driving down the road and all the sudden the battery gauge needle will start bouncing up and down then the car just shuts down and usually takes 30 minutes to an hour to get the car started again, then about 10 to 15 minutes after i finally get going again it do does the same thing all over again.

I unscrewed the two bolts from either side of the blue 100a fuse. The fuse won't budge. Is there somthing else I need to un screw, or do I just need to pull harder?

The interior light and the radio all come on as well. However, it will not start. I can try to start two times and nothing. Usually on the third try, the car starts, although slightly sluggishly. The battery is brand new. Any ideas?

the service center i had my car brought too said it had a bad starter. they said they'd have to replace it (for an outragious amount of money!) i drove my car back from the shop on a friday. the next day, i went to start my car, and it was dead again!!! it hasnt even been 24 hours and it's already broken!! i think that maybe they were wrong about the starter being broken, maybe it's something else? or maybe they just screwed me over because i'm an 18 year old girl that knows nothing about cars. please help! when i turn the key, it only makes one click noise and thats it. the battery is brand new. any ideas?!?!

I recently bought a 1995 Monte Carlo V-6 and when I come to a stop my car begins to shake. I looked under the hood and realized that it would miss on the 5th cylinder. I put new injector fluid in and changed the spark plugs and it seemed to be running a little bit better but it's still running on only 5 of the 6 cylinders. I also noticed a funny smell. I have checked the vacuum hose with starting fluid for leaks but did not find any. Does anyone have any idea what else it could be?

My car has recently been hit by a van and has broken my wing mirror (drivers side). The electrics are all still in place, the mirror itself is fine and the back of the mirror is also fine, it's only the front casing which is smashed and the bit that attaches to the car. I couldn't find anywhere which could sell me the parts I needed so have had to buy a whole mirror.

How do I replace it without breaking the electrics, etc?
