easy, 2 tons is 4000 lbs , your suv may be around 6000 lbs but your only lifting 1/4 at a time

Shouldn't be a problem.

Keep in mind, 2 tons is 4000 lbs. And the average SUV is around 6000 lbs. As long as you aren't trying to lift more than one axle at a time, you should be fine.

You are only going to lift one end or one side at a time. It will handle that. I use a 2 ton floor jack and have no problem

yes it will ,they,ll lift 4 thousand pounds off the ground so it should lift your SUV with no problems,,just don't get in under it without some support holding it up,,its dangerous ,,good luck,hope this help,s.

Make sure that you chaulk the tires that will be in contact with the ground when you lift the vehicle. Yes the jack will lift the vehicle.
