If any of your work pertains to the interior, such as seats , carpet , headliner, etc. You can go to www.mosstrimshop.com for all of your interior needs

What are you trying to get from it? You could spend anywhere from $1,000 to well over $100K, and even more.

If the body work is ok, and there is no significant rust or holes, then this will help to lessen the cost. This means below the paint as well, since someone could've already painted over some damage. It also means in places like floor-boards and trunks...you may not see it, but it could be there. You'll also want to have a solid frame obviously and any dents or dings could be pricey as well, depending on their size and location.

What kind of engine work are you doing? Are you replacing it with a new engine or rebuilding the old one? How about the transmission, the rear-end, the suspension, the brakes the electric, etc. What about the interior? Trim (like chrome and lights)?

In short...it's going to cost a good amount either way, and once you get started, you'll get the bug. It'll be harder and harder to NOT spend the money and the bills will pile up. I actually dropped $6k into my first car, and to be perfectly honest, it's kind of embarrassing how little it actually accomplished. It runs and all, but it sure is ugly.

Also, it will always be cheaper to do it yourself. If you send it out somewhere, it will cost parts + labor. If you're watchnig shows like Rides and have a rebuild in mind like something Chip Foose would do, well, now you're looking at about the same amount it would cost to buy a brand new car...maybe even a real expensive one.

I don't think that's possible. There are so many variables, car condition, parts cost and availability, fabrication of parts that are unavailable.
The biggest cost would be body work.

If you would have given a little more info like Make, Model, and year, I could at least give you a educated GUESS.

The better the question, the better the answer.
