You really should get a repair manual. It cost about $15 at Auto-Zone. The Heater Core is usually behind the Air Conditioner Coils on the passenger side under the dash. Look under the hood and find where the TWO Heater Hoses enter the Firewall. Then you have an idea where it is inside the car. You have to Disconnect the two heater hoses from the core under the hood. Then you have to get to the darn thing under the dash. I replaced one on a Crown Victoria and practically had to remove the dash to get to it. A manual will be the best thing a person can do, if, they want to try to fix it. It really easy to fix, just hard getting to it.

i have a shop manual and still paid my mechanic 450 to change it. If you dont know what u r doing don't try it.
