the color of the car is silver and the watchman used a cloth to clean card without dampening it with water and the dust that was on the car caused a lot of scratches. If I go to the car painters they will charge me a lot. Would appreciate someone's assistance to get rid off these scratches.

Sometimes when I make a sharp turn, usually a left turn, the car acts as if it isnt getting enough of gas and slows down. It takes a minute once I put on the gas again to get it back into gear after the turn. What could be the problem?

It's a carburated '89 corolla. Only things left that I can think of are either blown head gasket, or replacement of air filter.. It smells bad but not as bad as before the oil change. What do you guys think?

they headlights have a cloudy, foggy look to them and i am trying to make them look as close as possible to brand new. I have heard that car dealers use something that makes headlights look brand new again.

The auto zone and a mechanic at a gas station, both verified that it is the oxygen sensor. Do I need to replace that right away, or can I just drive it and wait. And what does that sensor do to the car?

how is it that i can get that fixed? how much money will it cost ? Im I better off buying a new car? Im only 19 so I dont Know much about cars and I have about 2 months with this car. I know the guy who had the car before me he is my sis husband, my inlaw's cousine who is a mechanic jus did the gaket replacement on the engine about 1 year 1/2 ago, they had 3 cars in total so they would rarely use the honda (which is the car im currently having problems with). is that a cause for this? im using the 20 50 oil is that corect it has alot of miles

2000 Mustang GT V8 4.6l
5 spd - 78,000 miles

So I was shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear and the shifter wont barge and then finally got into gear with some effor. The next thing I heard was a boom as if something blew up. Tried shifting into the different gears. Nothing! Just free revved with each gear when I pressed on the gas... So I slowed down using my brakes and pulled into a street corner. As I was slowing down, I heard a constant hiss/whining sound from the engine (would have heard it before if it wasn't for the o/r midpipe. I thought my transmission might have been shot. The car idled and I shifted through all the different gears without even using the clutch pedal itself!!! The car wont go anywhere. The clutch pedal feels very heavy. Is it my transmission that got shot or is it something else?

I haven't changed the windshield wipers for 3 years and they are leaving lots of streaks. However when I go to Autozone and Target, they only sell the whole windshield wiper. Should I be changing both wipers since it's been so long a time, or should I keep looking for the refills?

For 3 weeks my speedometer kept slipping. At first it wouldn't move at all and then it would reach the speed limit i was trying to go but then drop back down. My mechanic kept the car overnight to check it in the morning and said it was the speed sensor so he replaced it. It worked fine for one day but it's doing it again. He said to just deal with it if it happened again or else he will have to replace the transmission. Is that true? or could something else be wrong? The car has 181k miles on it and no the transmission has never had a tune up.

My honda 92 accord lampwwent on today and when I pulled over to check it under the hood and the metal hanger looking thing said it was empty on oil. but How if I jus did the oil and filter change about 513 miles ago. The concete at my house is not showing evidence of oil leakage. I put about 4 !/2 bottles of oil so it cant be that i didnt put enough oil on the change . why is it that there is no oil in the pan? Im really confused?

I filled my 98 Buick Regal up this past Tuesday and it was on 1/4 of a tank by Friday! I know I need to take it to have it looked at but I cannot afford that right now. I wonder if it is the air filter needing replaced? Any mechanics out there that can answer my question?
