I hope that you know what you are doing because freon is the trade name of R-12 not R-134a which is required for your vehicle if you have two valves on your cars ac system and you dont know which one is high side and which is low side then you obvioulsy do not know what the hell you are doing under the hood trying to save yourself a few bucks i hope to hell no one actually tells you how to do this online because i am really tired of fixing cars and hearing about all sorts of epa regulations that i have to follow being a mechanic

This one probably is on the "accumulator bottle", which is the big "aluminum can" about 2 1/4 in dia and about 8-9 inches long. one of these lines goes to the compressor (it will be big hose), - if not on the cannister, or the line, it will be at compressor at this connection. If you buy one of those "re-charge" hookups that fits the "can" of freon, it will have the right connector (for R-134A). This connector won't fit on the "wrong conection!" As for charging tips, I have described easy way to tell if you are getting the right "charge" in the system, - manual will tell you to "evacuate the system" then measure exact amount, and put it in! This is not nescessary, if you know what to do!

I have described the procedure in several "answers" within the last three weeks, (even once last week), if you check "air-conditioner problem" questions, - you should find it fairly easy! The procedure is fairly simple, but takes a lot of time to go through it step by step. And I am a little short of time at the present!

The scource will be stated as "former a/c shop",- or "shop foreman", -or "service manager", (or both)
