Its in the same location weather you have the 3.0 or the 3.8 liter engine. The 3.0 is MUCH easier to get at than the 3.8 since the engine is smaller and not as close to the firewall. Most of these guys are right, BUT ITS NOT A YELLOW T HANDLE. Its BLACK and a loop. Its down low as well on the right hand side as you face the engine from the front of the car below and to the left of the brake fluid reservoir.

when you check it. Make sure the car is hot, the engine is running and the gearshift is in park. Pull out the stick, wipe it off, put it back in and pull it out again to read it. ADD FLUID IN SMALL AMOUNTS.

if you are looking for the actual fluid it is in the transmission but if you are looking for the fill spout it is on the drivers side by the firewall. It is a small dipstick with a little yellow T handle. You will need a funnel to add more fluid. If you need to change it i would recommend taking it to a shop or oil changers or something as draining the trans fluid is a pain.

Would help a LOT to know if it is an automatic or standard... an automatic is an AXOD transmission that has a short dipstick that should be near the back of the engine compartment near the brake/ master cylinder... a manual tranny would need to be checked by a mechanic as it doesn't have a dipstick... I assume you are wondering about adding/ checking fluid... and there is a plug that can be pulled by a cert. mechanic to check that.
Hope that is what you are looking for.

The transmission dipstick is on the left side just to the right of the brake fluid reservior. It has a little yellow handle. It is just to the rear of the big black air tube, and down about 2 inches

its in the transmission,,if your asking how ,or where to check it at,,there,s a dip stick for it located on the side of the transmission and you check it while its hot idling in park, and please don't over fill it,,if it needs some add it in small amounts,if you over fill it you,ll mess it up good,,it will make it blow seals and leak really bad also will cause it to possibly go out because it floods the transmission,,i own a repair shop,,and do this for a living, good luck i hope this help,s.
